1. தேவனே, என்னை விடுவியும், கர்த்தாவே, எனக்குச் சகாயஞ்செய்யத் தீவிரியும்.
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.

2. என் பிராணனை வாங்கத்தேடுகிறவர்கள் வெட்கி நாணுவார்களாக; எனக்குத் தீங்குவரும்படி விரும்புகிறவர்கள் பின்னிட்டுத் திரும்பி இலச்சையடைவார்களாக.
Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

3. ஆ ஆ, ஆ ஆ, என்பவர்கள் தாங்கள் அடையும் வெட்கத்தினால் பின்னிட்டுப்போவார்களாக.
Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

4. உம்மைத் தேடுகிற யாவரும் உம்மில் மகிழ்ந்து சந்தோஷப்படுவார்களாக; உமது இரட்சிப்பில் பிரியப்படுகிறவர்கள் தேவனுக்கு மகிமையுண்டாவதாக என்று எப்பொழுதும் சொல்வார்களாக.
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

5. நானோ சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவன்; தேவனே, என்னிடத்தில் தீவிரமாய் வாரும்: நீரே என் துணையும் என்னை விடுவிக்கிறவருமானவர், கர்த்தாவே, தாமதியாதேயும்.
But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
