1. பலவான்களின் புத்திரரே, கர்த்தருக்கு மகிமையையும் வல்லமையையும் செலுத்துங்கள்; கர்த்தருக்கே அதைச் செலுத்துங்கள்.
A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

2. கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்திற்குரிய மகிமையை அவருக்குச் செலுத்துங்கள்; பரிசுத்த அலங்காரத்துடனே கர்த்தரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்கள்.
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

3. கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் தொனிக்கிறது; மகிமையுள்ள தேவன் முழங்குகிறார்; கர்த்தர் திரளான தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் இருக்கிறார்.
The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

4. கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் வல்லமையுள்ளது; கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் மகத்துவமுள்ளது.
The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

5. கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் கேதுருமரங்களை முறிக்கிறது; கர்த்தர் லீபனோனின் கேதுருமரங்களை முறிக்கிறார்.
The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

6. அவைகளைக் கன்றுக்குட்டிகளைப்போலவும், லீபனோனையும் சீரியோனையும் காண்டாமிருகக் குட்டிகளைப்போலவும் துள்ளப்பண்ணுகிறார்.
He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

7. கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் அக்கினிஜுவாலைகளைப் பிளக்கும்.
The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

8. கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் வனாந்தரத்தை அதிரப்பண்ணும்; கர்த்தர் காதேஸ் வனாந்தரத்தை அதிரப்பண்ணுகிறார்.
The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9. கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் பெண்மான்களை ஈனும்படி செய்து, காடுகளை வெளியாக்கும்; அவருடைய ஆலயத்திலுள்ள யாவரும் அவருடைய மகிமையைப் பிரஸ்தாபிக்கிறார்கள்.
The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

10. கர்த்தர் ஜலப்பிரவாகத்தின்மேல் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறார்; கர்த்தர் என்றென்றைக்கும் ராஜாவாக வீற்றிருக்கிறார்.
The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

11. கர்த்தர் தமது ஜனத்திற்குப் பெலன்கொடுப்பார்; கர்த்தர் தமது ஜனத்திற்குச் சமாதானம் அருளி, அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.
The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
