Tamil Bible App is developed by Bro. JD as a free service to the Tamil Christian community worldwide. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

All data created by the App is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server. This includes:

• Bible reading notes and diary entries you create
• Highlighted verses and bookmarks
• Your reading progress and daily portion history
• App settings: theme, font size, language preference, and background music choice

This data is stored in a private app database on your device. It is not accessible to other apps and is removed when you uninstall the App.

The App makes internet connections only for the following purposes:

• Strong's Interlinear data — fetches Hebrew/Greek dictionary entries from tamil-bible.com when you use the Interlinear feature
• Cross references — loads cross-reference data from tamil-bible.com
• Bible audio — streams Tamil and English audio from third-party Bible audio services
• Background music — streams optional ambient music from tamil-bible.com and caches it locally on your device
• Additional Bible versions (ESV, NIV, NKJV) — fetched from bolls.life API when requested
• Verse of the day — downloads a small JSON file from tamil-bible.com once per year
• App configuration — reads remote configuration from Google Firebase to check for app updates and manage optional ads

No personally identifiable information is included in any of these requests.

The Windows desktop version of the App does not display any advertisements.

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The App contains no accounts, no social features, and no user-generated content shared with others. All notes and highlights remain private on the user's device.
